Cart.php inside OSX style modal

I am trying to use Eric Martin's OSX Style Dialog modal window to display my cart. problem is I have no idea how to add cart.php into the modal window. Anyone have experience with this?

you can see it in action here (test.etiquette.es) just click on the View Cart link in the top menu.

I'd love to if I knew exactly how it works. I had a developer code this for me. I would be more than willing to share any files though.
