XML import and export

Post by OldGlory »

Hello friends,

We have interspire shopping cart shops and now we need 2 things.

1) We need to import data from supplier - about 2000 products. So we are not able to modify it every day manually...
2) This product we want to export to price comparator like price grabber but we need it to this one: http://www.heureka.cz, http://www.zbozi.cz

I apologize if you will not understand that language. I would like to know, if I can use for example google feed that is integrated in interspire and modify it to this price graders or If I need module....

I am able to pay someone who will do it because its very important and its very frustrating for me :-(

(Our supplier using XML feed)

Note: I edited your original post to correct the spelling and make it all a bit easier to understand..

It would be useful to know what data would be provided by your supplier and how much information would need to be changed on a daily basis. I guess, it would be price and stock availability mainly...

If you needed to import whole products, with images, etc.. it would be a much bigger job.

Modifying the existing shoppingcomparison modules should be easy if the format is comparable (ie: similar).

You would need a modified module for 2. but 1. would need a custom job..

The more information you can provide the more likely someone may be able to help.

Note: I'm not available myself but hopefully the information above will help you provide the detail that someone else will need to understand exactly what you need.
