Is it possible to have a simple database query to verify which brand the products being displayed are? Let’s say when we are displaying all products from certain categories, if a product is from SONY where we show the price we would have a MSRP before the value, all the other brands we wouldn’t need.

Also, when we are displaying the products by brand, if is CANON we would like to have something different like extra graphic banner – so would be a simple IF / ELSE type of verification.

Anyone know if it’s even possible to achieve something like this and how can we do this?
