LemonStand

Post by kurt »

LemonStand looks totally awesome. Admin area looks really good. The only thing it's lacking are some nice front end templates. It will even print USPS labels! I'm thinking about sticking with ISC for a few more months, 1 year at most then jumping ship to LemonStand if it continues add features. The forum and blog look lively. I'm starting to get excited. Your thoughts?

Ugh! http://demo.lemonstandapp.com/basic/bac ... auto_login
LemonStand is a modern web application that uses standards based technologies such as XHTML and JavaScript. Your web browser, Internet Explorer from Microsoft, unfortunately does not have adequate support for these technologies. Therefore, LemonStand cannot work in Internet Explorer at this time.

Fortunately, there are many web browsers available that do support web standards. These are available free of cost and are easy to get up and running. Here are 4 great choices that are available for both Windows and Mac:

FireFox
Google Chrome
Safari
Opera

After installing any one of these web browsers, you can open it up and attempt to access this page again. Using one of these web browsers will not only enable you to manage your website powered by LemonStand, but will also enhance your experience of many other websites.
ISC 4.0.7

Hi guys,

Just letting you know we just so happened to add Google Base support a week later. It's on the Marketplace.

Being that the frontend is decoupled, most LemonStand stores have fairly custom frontend templates and mobile support is up to the developer (mostly HTML/CSS slicing). We'll be adding more themes, and themes that support mobile as we go along, of course, but it's correct we still lack a comprehensive selection. I believe 2 have been added to the Marketplace since this topic's creation, but it would be nice to see more making their way there. :)

We'll most likely be supporting IE10 when it's released and gains popularity.
